The fourth annual Art About Agriculture exhibit and sale runs November 5 through February 26 at the Santa Paula Art Museum , with portions of the exhibit also featured at our Agriculture Museum. To see the entire show, visit both museums, which are within blocks of each other. Paid entry or free membership admission to either museum will allow $1 off admission to the other, during the run of this exhibit.
Art About Agriculture is presented by The Ag Art Alliance, to show art that explores all facets of agriculture, from workers to water, from machinery to soil, to the food that goes on our plates.
The full exhibit includes work by more than 45 artists, in both two and three dimensional media. All the pieces draw inspiration from our agricultural heritage and/or contemporary agriculture. That inspiration includes, but is not limited to, rural landscape, animals, farm products, rural life, and issues related to agriculture.
Museum of Ventura County's Agriculture Museum is located at 926 Railroad Avenue in Santa Paula, off 10th Street near the Train Depot (805.525.3100). The nearby Santa Paula Art Museum is at 117 North 10th Street in downtown Santa Paula. For more information about the exhibit, go to www.santapaulaartmuseum.org
